Zodiac executive passes away

STEVENSVILLE, Md. – Zodiac of North America is mourning the loss of Brad Jennings, leisure rigid inflatable boat division manager, who died suddenly June 30 at his home, the company said in a press release Wednesday.

“Brad was such a vital part of our company, and our lives for more than 20 years,” said JJ. Marie, Zodiac of North America president and CEO. “We are all so shocked and saddened by this terrible loss.”

Jennings joined the company in 1983 and quickly became a familiar face as he worked to expand the market for rigid inflatable boats among recreational boaters and yacht owners.

“Brad had a winning personality and smile that everyone remembered,” Marie said. “At boat shows and other trade events, he wouldn’t go five minutes without a warm greeting from a colleague in the industry. And within Zodiac, he was a dear friend to all of us.”

A service was held yesterday in Lewes, Del. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Jennings’ name to the American Heart Association, 1151 Walker Road, Suite 202, Dover, DE 19901.
