Viking Yacht takes on new international sales manager
NEW GRETNA, N.J. – Steve Boerema, St. Augustine, Fla., has joined Viking Yacht Co. to lead the boat builder’s new international sales division and serve as the West Coast sales manager, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
Boerema has worked in domestic and international retail and wholesale marine sales for more than 14 years. He will be directly involved in the export process of retail yachts, as well as serve as a liaison to international customers and dealers.
He comes to Viking after four years in a similar capacity at Cabo Yachts. Viking currently has six international dealers, in Australia, Spain, Italy, Aruba, Venezuela and Panama; and expects to expand this network under Boerema’s direction, it reported.
