Cruisers Yachts creates new vice president position

OCONTO, Wis. – Cruisers Yachts, the luxury yacht manufacturer, has appointed Jeff Brunson to vice president of sales and marketing, a newly created position, the company said in a statement yesterday.

Brunson will be located at the company’s Oconto, Wis., headquarters and will report directly to Jim Viestenz, president of KCS International Inc., Cruisers Yachts’ parent company. Both Don DePouw, vice president of marketing, and Gene Berth, director of sales, continue in their existing roles and will report to Brunson.

As part of his new position, Brunson will be responsible for the company’s strategic marketing focus, managing its national and international dealer network, new product development, providing industry forecasting and troubleshooting, and overseeing the sales and promotion of the Cruisers Yachts brand and its products.

“In the past few years, Cruisers Yachts has experienced unprecedented growth due to the introduction of several express yachts and a new sport sedan series,” Viestenz said. “We are aggressively continuing this momentum and the addition of Jeff’s 17 years of marine experience to our sales and marketing team will be invaluable as we plot our company’s course for the future.”

Prior to joining the Cruisers Yachts crew, Brunson held the position of director of North American sales with Bombardier Recreational Products and prior to that, regional sales manager at Carver Yachts.
