Regulator names vice president of operations

EDENTON, N.C. – Regulator Marine President Joan Maxwell has appointed Keith B. Stevens, Jr. as vice president of operations, the company said in a statement Feb. 27. Stevens will lead growth and innovative breakthroughs in quality and productivity.

He most recently served as vice president of operations for Danaher Corporation’s Specialty Motors Group. He has also held significant manufacturing management positions at IBM and International Paper Company. He received his MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. He also received master’s and bachelor’s degrees in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University.

“Keith has a proven track record in quality and productivity innovations,” Maxwell said. “Our success is completely dependent on the quality of the boats we produce. Keith’s enthusiasm, leadership and demonstrated skill sets make him perfectly suited for his new assignment.”
