Genmar welcomes two new presidents

MINNEAPOLIS – Genmar Holdings, Inc., has promoted Jeffrey C. Olson to replace John Anderson as the president of Four Winns Boats, LLC and appointed Allen P. Kuebelbeck to be the president of Larson/Glastron Boats, Inc., the company said in a release yesterday.

“Jeff’s advancement to lead Four Winns is a much deserved promotion and well-earned accomplishment for him,” said Roger R. Cloutier, II, president of Genmar. “Jeff has been at the forefront of the advancement and growth of both the Larson and Glastron boat brands. With Jeff’s 25-plus years experience in the boating industry, and particularly the past seven years with Larson/Glastron, I am confident that through his management, Four Winns’ worldwide boat business will advance to record revenue levels and increased market share.”

Cloutier went on to say that Kuebelbeck’s familiarity with the Larson/Glastron organization, where he served as senior vice president of Operations from 1980 to 1989, would allow for a “seamless transition.”

“I am pleased to announce Al’s appointment as president of the Larson/Glastron organization,” said Cloutier. “I’ve had the privilege of working with Al for several years during his tenure as president of Crestliner Boats during the time of Genmar’s ownership. I’m confident that with his management style and skills, Al will be able to continue the growth and successful product advancements of the Larson/Glastron brands. As a long-time resident of the Little Falls community and a highly respected business leader, Al will be immediately effective in the organization.”

Olson said he would miss the day-to-day involvement with “the great people I’ve worked with at Larson/Glastron,” but said he is honored and privileged with his new opportunity.

“I look forward to working closely with the people at Four Winns, their dealers, vendors and the Cadillac community,” Olson said. “I have great confidence and strongly believe in the Four Winns growth opportunities as the worldwide leader in recreational runabouts and cruisers. Additionally, I know that my knowledge of both of these organizations is going to allow for a solid advancement of ‘best practices’ and ideas that ultimately will benefit our customers.”

Kuebelbeck said he was pleased and honored with his opportunity as well and that he sincerely believed that “through Larson/Glastron’s many great employees and its strong dealer network, both the Larson and Glastron brands and products are well positioned for continued growth.”
