Walker Bay Boats undergoes personnel change

YAKIMA, Wash. – Walker Bay Boats Inc. has promoted Michael Carroll to director of marketing and Stefano Rista has been appointed as product manager, the company said in a statement today. Carroll will oversee Rista and report directly to Andrew Taylor, Walker Bay Boats president.

“We are always pleased to promote employees that make such a valuable contribution,” Taylor said. “In their new roles they will have a strong impact on increasing our market share.”

After launching Walker Bay’s new Genesis and Odyssey inflatable lines as marketing manager, Carroll will now be more involved in strategic planning and opening up new sales channels through marketing initiatives. Carroll is also responsible for future product planning and analysis, improving the time to market and positioning of new products. As director of marketing, he oversees the trade marketing, brand marketing, product development and public relations departments.

After working with Walker Bay for four years, Rista returns as product manager.

Rista will be responsible for managing new and existing product developments while working with designers, mold makers and manufacturing operations. As manager, he will identify and capitalize on opportunities in new markets and new technologies.
