Unified Marine names new president

NAPLES, Fla. – Marc Emmi has been formally named president of Unified Marine, Inc., the Naples, Fla.-based manufacturer of SeaSense brand marine and trailer accessories, the company said in a release yesterday.

As Unified’s former vice president, Emmi assumes the post previously held by former president Steve Taugher who passed away in late 2005.

Emmi is a 21-year veteran of the marine industry and came to Unified last year from Wellington Leisure Products, Inc. in Madison Ga., where he served as group vice president of sports for eight years and vice president of consumer and commercial sales for two years. Prior to Wellington, Emmi was a national accounts manager at Crowe Rope for ten years

“Emmi has the credentials that are essential in providing the best possible service to all our customers, a proven track record and the drive and commitment to take Unified Marine to the next level,” said Unified’s CEO David Nirenberg.
