Marine Mover – Gomes, Tubaugh and Weller promoted at Grady-White Boats

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Grady-White Boats has made significant changes in its leadership structure, effective October 1, the company reported in a statement yesterday.

Doug Gomes has been promoted to senior vice president of Grady-White Boats. He formerly was vice president of sales and marketing. A key role of his new duties as senior vice president is working with Grady-White President Kris Carroll to develop and promote strategic corporate projects that further the company’s vision and values. Gomes will continue to oversee the company’s overall sales and marketing efforts.

Joey Weller has been promoted to director of sales and marketing with responsibilities for sales, marketing, advertising, media and media relations as well as customer and dealer relations. Weller joined Grady-White in 1988 as a production supervisor. He previously served in various manufacturing leadership positions involving fiberglass fabrication, assembly and quality assurance; as customer relations manager; and most recently as marketing manager.

Shelley Tubaugh, most recently customer and dealer relations manager and acting
purchasing manager, has been promoted to director of human resources.
