Marine Mover – David Croom joins MarineMax Wrightsville Beach

CLEARWATER, Fla. – MarineMax has named David Croom to its Wrightsville Beach brokerage team, according to a statement from the company Tuesday.

Prior to joining MarineMax, Croom owned and operated a brokerage and dealership in Charleston, SC. As a dealer for several builders, he was involved in the purchase of numerous boats from 28 feet to 92 feet, including private yachts, charter boats, motor yachts and sport fishing convertibles.

Acquiring a U.S. Coast Guard captain’s license at the age of 19, spending time in the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and working and traveling on various private, charter and commercial vessels give Croom perspective on the boating industry.

Croom graduated from the University of Georgia in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
