Marine Mover – Sea Vee hires Caballero as sales and marketing manager

MIAMI – Sport fishing boat builder Sea Vee has hired John Caballero to manage the company’s expanding sales and marketing efforts, according to a release from the company Wednesday.

“We’ve got big plans for the future, and John will play a big role in making these plans into reality,” said Ariel Pared, president of Sea Vee. “With the many growth initiatives we have planned for the next few years, the timing couldn’t be better for us to bring John onboard.”

Caballero brings marine industry experience and a diverse background to his new post. Most recently, Caballero headed Florida advertising sales for the Time4 Marine Group. He has also been vice president of marketing and product development for Simrad, Inc., a marine electronics manufacturer. Caballero worked for Simrad for 15 years, six of those years heading up its offices in Dania, Fla.

“As an avid boater and saltwater angler, I’ve always been extremely impressed with the engineering of Sea Vee boats,” Caballero said. “I’m thrilled to once again be directly involved in the boating business and eager to contribute to Sea Vee’s aggressive growth plans for the future.”
