Brown named head of Shannon Yachts

Bristol, R.I. – Shannon Yachts, builders of semi-custom power and sailing yachts from 32′ to 60′, recently announced the appointment of Bruce Brown as President and Chief Operating Officer of the company.

“I am honored to have been selected by the Board of Directors to carry on the Shannon business and commitment to yacht building excellence,” said Brown. “I am particularly pleased that I will have full access to Founder, Walter Schulz and his talented mind.”

Brown has a complete sailing, yacht building and business background, having been an executive with Ted Hood, Sr. when developing his Rhode Island companies and most recently as General Manager of Palmer Johnson.
