Boating Trades Association of Metropolitan Houston names new officers

HOUSTON, Texas – The Boating Trades Association of Metropolitan Houston named new officers for the 2005-2006 term, according to a press release from the organization August 8.

This year’s board of directors is comprised of Harold Sharp, president; Kevin Chema, vice president; Rudy Kleimann, secretary; and Jim Woodward, Sr., treasurer. Phil Keeter, president of the Marine Retailers Association of America installed the new officers at the last Boating Trades Association meeting.

Sharp, as the new president, has great plans for the future of the Association.

“I hope to continue an excellent tradition of making boating more attractive to the public,” Sharp said. “We are committed to informing the consumer that boating is a safe and affordable recreation that will keep families together.”
