Marine Mover – New art director named at Wind Surfing and Kiteboarding magazines

WINTER PARK, Fla. – World Publications promoted Russ Moore to art director of two of its board sports magazines, Wind Surfing and Kiteboarding, said editorial director Tom James in a statement yesterday.

“We firmly believe one of the best ways to promote these board sports are with dynamic photos and energetic designs,” James said. “Russ has the eye and the talent to make the design of Wind Surfing and Kiteboarding come alive for our readers.”

Moore previously worked as an advertising artist for several of World’s titles. In his four years with the company, he has designed the annual Pro Wakeboard Tour media guide and worked extensively on the Watersports Retailer Expo issue.

“I’m thrilled with this opportunity at these magazines,” Moore says. “With my background, I hope to add a progressive design attitude to the books. I’m sure the readers will see the enthusiasm through my work.”
