Marine Mover – Channel Blade Technologies names COO, general sales manager
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Channel Blade Technologies added two people to its management team, according to a statement from the company Wednesday. David Rayne was named chief operating officer and Johnathan Witte was appointed general sales manager.
Rayne brings expertise in international finance, strategic growth planning and corporate performance management to Channel Blade. Most recently a managing director for a performance management start-up company, Rayne has also held chief operating and chief financial officer positions and has experience with national financial institutions and an aerospace firm. He holds a bachelors degree and a MBA from Virginia Tech.
In his new position, Rayne will direct, plan, and implement policies and objectives of the organization in accordance with the shareholder growth strategy.
Witte brings an extensive background of more than 15 years in print and broadcast communications, customer service, advertising buying and new media to his position. Witte has worked for several regional media companies and serves on several community and business groups.
With a track record of sales success in major accounts and a specialty in automotive advertising, Witte’s specific responsibilities for Channel Blade are to grow sales and market share within the marine, RV, motorcycle and power sports industries in addition to recruiting and overseeing new members of the company’s growing inside sales force. He attended Old Dominion University, majoring in communications.
