Marine Mover – Yamaha promotes three to senior district service representatives

KENNESAW, Ga. — Yamaha Marine promoted John Corlett, Joe Maniscalco and Tim Smith to senior district service representatives, according to a statement Friday from James Mills, national service manager.

“These gentlemen will continue to provide the excellent service and support their dealers and customers have come to expect within their assigned territories,” Mills said.

Corlett, Maniscalco and Smith will retain their existing duties while taking on the additional responsibility of training new employees and cross-training existing employees.

Corlett lives in Land O Lakes, Fla., and covers territory in the west central part of the state from Englewood, Fla., to Crystal River, Fla. He has been with Yamaha for more than two years. Before joining Yamaha, Corlett spent 23 years in the retail marine industry as a technician and service manager along Florida’s west coast.

Maniscalco lives in Milwaukee and covers territory in Wisconsin and northern Illinois. He had worked for the last 18 years as a marine service technician and service manager in dealerships in Milwaukee and in the western Florida panhandle before joining Yamaha nearly two years ago.

Smith lives in Everglades City, Fla., and covers territory in South Florida and the Florida Keys. Over the past 36 years in the retail marine industry, Smith has worked as an outboard technician in a family-run marine dealership, as well as other dealerships in the South Florida area. Smith has been with Yamaha for more than four years.
