Marine Mover – Marine magazine veteran launches editorial services company

ORLANDO, Fla. – Former editor of ShowBoats International and former editor-in-chief of Motor Boating Louisa Rudeen Beckett has launched Turnkey Communications, an editorial and marketing services business, according to a statement from the agency Tuesday.

Based in Orlando, Fla., the agency offers magazine editing, feature writing, custom publishing, advertising copywriting, product brochures, public relations and scriptwriting.

“Today, many magazines and boat builders are finding it more efficient to outsource a variety of publishing projects to specialized outside editors,” said Beckett, whose 23-year publishing career also has included executive positions at Yachting and Redbook. “My experience and industry connections will allow me to produce polished, authoritative copy that’s ready for publication; hence the name Turnkey Communications.”
