Marine Mover — TACO Metals appoints quality manager

MIAMI, Fla. – TACO Metals, Inc., a marine extrusions, hardware and sport fishing manufacturer, has added George Fulghum, Jr. to its staff as quality manager, the company said in a statement today.

Fulghum brings 17 years of experience to TACO. He previously was involved in ISO certification and new plant startups for Advanced Innovations, Spartech Industries and United Technologies.

“TACO is a major supplier to the leading U.S. and international boat builders,” Fulghum said. “Many are ISO certified and they expect their strategic suppliers to be certified. While we have ISO-compliant procedures in place, a top priority for me will be to achieve our ISO 9001 certification by the end of this year.”
