ORLANDO, Fla. – Marine marketing firm Kenton Smith Advertising & Public Relations, Inc. has tapped Brad Kovach as senior account manager, effective July 1, 2005, the company reported in a recent statement.
Prior to joining the Kenton Smith team, Kovach worked the past five years for Time4Media, serving most recently as deputy managing editor for MotorBoating Magazine. In addition, he previously worked as a PR account executive for a Denver-based agency with key account management and publicity duties.
“We had more than 60 candidates apply for this position and interviewed several strong, outstanding industry veterans,” said Wanda Kenton Smith, agency founder and president. “However, Brad’s unique combined skill set involving account management, journalism and public relations, coupled with his hands-on boating skills and solid marine market experience, will certainly work to benefit our marine clients. Our team is very excited to bring him aboard.”
In addition to traditional account management duties, Kovach will also be involved in new business development activities and in select media and public relations initiatives.
