Marine Mover – KeyCorp adds member to its board of directors

CLEVELAND – H. James Dallas, vice president of Information Technology and chief information officer of Georgia-Pacific Corp. has been elected to KeyCorp’s Board of Directors, the company said in a release yesterday.

“James is an outstanding addition to our board,” said Henry L. Meyer III, Key’s chairman and CEO. “He brings to us strong management and leadership skills acquired during his 20-year career with Georgia-Pacific, as well as vision and a wealth of experience in technology and information systems, a critical business function for Key. We look forward to his perspective and counsel.”

Dallas joined Georgia-Pacific in 1984 as an accountant. He was promoted to general manager of the Transportation Division and then president of the company’s Lumber Division before assuming his current position. As chief information officer, he oversees Georgia-Pacific’s technology strategy, service, support and infrastructure.

Cleveland-based KeyCorp is one of the nation’s largest bank-based financial services companies, with assets of approximately $90 billion. Key companies provide investment management, retail and commercial banking, consumer finance, and investment banking products and services to individuals and companies throughout the United States and, for certain businesses, internationally.
