Marine Mover – NMMA makes several staff changes and promotions
CHICAGO – The National Marine Manufacturers Association has recently made several staff changes and promotions, starting with a restructuring that will take place with the departure of Jennifer Thompson, director of Trade Events, who has left the association to manage trade events for the Industrial Fabrics Association International in Minneapolis.
NMMA has decided to restructure the role of its Trade Show director, splitting responsibilities among two internal staff members.
Kathleen Clickett is NMMA’s new manager of Trade Events and will be responsible for the Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show. She will also serve as co-director (with Carl Cramer) of the International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), which is co-produced with Professional Boatbuilder magazine.
Bernice McArdle is the new staff director for the Accessory Manufacturers Division at the association. Assisting her will be Janice Ilg, who has been promoted to program manager – Accessory Division, and will assume responsibility for staffing the AMD and its related programs and committees, including Marine Data Exchange, Aftermarket Mutual Efficiency Forum, OEM MEF programs and the NMMA METS pavilion.
McArdle will continue to direct efforts for the Personal Flotation Device Manufacturers Association, National Marine Bankers Association, Trailer Manufacturers Association and Houseboat Manufacturers Association.
