Marine Mover – C-MAP hires sales manager for Canada
CAPE COD, Mass. – C-MAP, a manufacturer of electronic charts and charting systems, has announced the hiring of Glenn Butt as its national sales manager for Canada.
“This move was made to acknowledge the importance of the Canadian market to our business, as well as to help us provide increased support to our distributors, dealers and customers,” said C-MAP/USA’s vice president/general manager Ken Cirillo.
“We are very excited to have Glenn representing C-MAP in the Canadian market,” said Cirillo. “His industry knowledge and experience in the Canadian market will be tremendous assets for C-MAP, particularly as we move ahead with our most important new product launch in many years.”
Butt’s hiring coincides with the worldwide introduction of MAX, a new generation of electronic charts. This new platform will be compatible with a range of new GPS/chart plotters from manufacturers, and gives boaters new features previously limited to computer based navigation systems.
