Marine Mover – Caplan named president of Brunswick Commercial and Government Products
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Brunswick Boat Group has promoted Eric W. Caplan to the position of president of Brunswick Commercial and Government Products, the company reported in a release yesterday.
Caplan most recently was BCGP’s director and business manager, responsible for leading all aspects of BCGP’s business strategy and operations. He will continue in those responsibilities, and continue reporting to Dustan E. McCoy, president of the Brunswick Boat Group.
“Under Eric’s direction, BCGP has strengthened its core business as well as expanded its product offering by listening to its customers and tapping into Brunswick’s extensive offerings,” McCoy said. “This appointment will ensure this forward momentum will continue to solidify BCGP’s leadership in the commercial and government marine market.”
BCGP is a builder of fiberglass boats specifically for commercial applications, including homeland security, law enforcement, military and combat craft, and fire and rescue.
