SARASOTA, Fla. - Brandy Marine has named Jim Wasilewski as general manager of operations at Sarasota Yacht Center, a full-service marina, boat storage and yacht-repair boat yard.
Wasilewski, who will manage a full-time staff of seven, at the nine-acre Sarasota Yacht Center, which offers wet and dry storage, hauling services with a 70-ton travel lift and a 20-ton forklift, plus a full portfolio of yacht services. He previously served as yard foreman on Whitaker Bayou.
“Wasilewski is a seasoned professional manager with strong organizational skills who prides himself on getting the job done correctly, on time, and on budget,” said Capt. Bruce Blomgren, president of Brandy Marine.
