Marine Mover – Lake McClure Marinas hires new general manager
LA GRANGE, Calif. – Lake McClure Marinas, part of the houseboats.com family of marinas serving Northern California, has named Jim McDaniel as its new general manager, the company said in a release on Monday.
The current general manager, Bobbi Kraemer, will continue on as the office manager in the Barrett Cove office, performing accounting duties and assisting McDaniel as he transfers into his new position.
As the new general manager, McDaniel will be responsible for management of all aspects of marina operations including personnel, sales, leasing, purchasing, maintenance, government regulation compliance, etc.
“Customer satisfaction is the key to any successful business, and it starts with efficient operations and happy, well trained personnel,” McDaniel said. “I intend to maintain an enthusiastic and honest environment where customers as well as the marina staff will encounter a friendly and rewarding experience.”
McDaniel has been the boatyard manager at Lake McClure Marinas for the past two years. His past experience includes working in maintenance at Lake McClure Marinas and operating his own small business.
