Marine Mover – Salt Water Sportsman names executive editor
NEW YORK – Salt Water Sportsman magazine has named magazine industry veteran Gerald Bethge to the post of executive editor, the company said in a press release.
Bethge will be based at the magazine’s New York office.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Gerry to Salt Water Sportsman,” said David DiBenedetto, editor. “With more than 20 years in this business, Gerry brings a deep understanding and expertise to this team as we head into a very exciting year for the magazine.”
Bethge comes to the magazine from Harris Publications. As editor-in-chief of the Harris Outdoor Group, Bethge was responsible for managing all aspects of that division’s editorial program, including more than 20 consumer outdoor magazine titles. Prior to that, Bethge held various positions over a 13-year tenure at Outdoor Life magazine.
