Marine Mover – Murray & Associates hires Kerwin
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Kevin M. Kerwin, president of Kerwin Naval Architects, Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has accepted an employment offer as senior naval architect for Murray & Associates, also of Fort Lauderdale, Kerwin said in a press release yesterday.
His duties with the new firm will include design management of two new 50-meter motor yacht design projects, business development, and management of similar refit and newbuild projects previously done by KNA.
Kerwin Naval Architects performed over 150 refit projects of various types on motoryachts from 60-140 feet since 1997, as well as the engineering of the new Farmont (ex Peer Gynt) 70 and 85 trawlers.
