Northwest boat designer dies

BURLINGTON, Wash. – Lynn Senour, a boat designer in the Pacific Northwest responsible for the designs of several famous boats, including the Marlineer, Grandy 28, Delta Charter Boats and Nordic Tugs, died Sept. 19, according to a press release from Nordic Tugs founder Jerry Husted today.

“Nordic Tugs was fortunate to partner with Lynn in 1979 to design the 26 Nordic Tug, which was a huge success,” Husted wrote. “Since then, Lynn designed each of the succeeding Nordic Tug models. Nordic Tugs success and longevity is due in part to the great hull designs by Lynn Senour.”
