Marine Mover – Custom Weld hires new sales manager

LEWISTON, Idaho – Aluminum jet and outboard boat manufacturer Custom Weld Boats has signed Ron Boggs as its dealer sales manager, the company said in a press release yesterday.

Boggs has 18 years experience in the aluminum boat industry and has held sales management positions with two of the top five aluminum boat builders in the world, according to the company.

Boggs, former coach of the Speech and Debate Team for Oregon State University, has worked the floor at more than 250 boat shows nationwide and plans to bring that experience to Custom Weld boat dealers.

“Custom Weld has shown consistent and sustainable growth for the past decade,” Boggs said. “Now it’s time to build their dealer network to create the next level of market penetration. I’ve doubled the sales volume for two previous aluminum boat builders. I fully expect to help Custom Weld double their sales over the next couple years.”
