Marine Movers – Century and Cobia Boats make management changes

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Richie Rodgers has joined C&C Manufacturing as the new customer service and quality assurance manager for Century and Cobia Boats, replacing Jeff Hudson who has been promoted to engineering manager for the company, according to a press release from Century and Cobia yesterday.

Hudson, who joined the company in 2003, will now oversee all aspects of engineering for both boat brands. As engineering manager, he will be responsible for all research and development, product design, and the development of new molds and tooling.

Hudson has over 10 years of marine experience, according to the companies. Prior to joining C&C Manufacturing, he was vice president of engineering for Stratos/Javelin Boats, and also operated his own company, building and designing custom boats.

Rodgers also brings more than 10 years of marine experience to the company, coming from Champion Boats where he held positions as brand manager, sales manger and customer service manager.
