Marine Mover – Sea magazine names managing editor

IRVINE, Calif. – Sea, magazine has appointed Holly Simpson as its managing editor, the publication reported in a recent press release.

Simpson, a certified scuba diver, has worked in a number of editing, writing and public relations capacities since graduating from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism in 1998.

As a page designer and wire editor for the Virgin Islands Daily News, she became interested in writing about the boating and charter yacht industries.

With five years in Chicago magazines and public relations under her belt, Simpson found her way to Southern California and Sea, where she will manage the editorial content of the 96 year old publication.
