ORLANDO, Fla. – Terry McNew has accepted the position of CEO and president of Correct Craft, Inc., the company reported in a release today.
McNew was formerly vice president of Sea Ray Boats, Inc. and reported directly to its CEO. He led the operations of eight U.S. facilities and one European facility with a workforce of over 3,000 employees. Over the past 17 years, he has held positions in both engineering and manufacturing.
As vice president of manufacturing, McNew was also responsible for Sea Ray’s Quality Systems and Manufacturing Technology group, which is responsible for the development and execution of robotics and closed-mold manufacturing processes.
“Mr. McNew was selected from three finalists who were in contention for the appointment,” said Ken Meloon, chairman of the Correct Craft Board. “We are confident that Mr. McNew’s leadership qualities and extensive background and experience within the marine industry, coupled with Correct Craft’s 80 years of boat building excellence, will continue the tradition that has made Correct Craft a success.”
