Marine Movers – Unified Marine, Inc. appoints new president, two others

NAPLES, Fla. – Steve Taugher has been named president of Unified Marine, Inc., the Florida-based manufacturer of SeaSense brand marine accessories, Cayman Swim Gear and Tyger Ray Dive Gear, the company said in a release today.

Founder and owner, David Nirenberg will retain the position of CEO, while vice president Read Samples’ position remains unaffected.

The company also said that Guy Fesender had been appointed to head up OEM sales and quality control, and that Greg Show was recruited to the sales team to head distributor sales and the swim and dive programs.

Taugher is a 28-year veteran of the marine industry, having served 23 years with Attwood as senior vice president, Marine and then as vice president, Category Business Operations for Brunswick.

Unified recruited Taugher specifically for the mission of managing Unified’s growth and expanding operations, which include moving into a larger facility in the immediate future, the company said.
