Marine Mover – NMEA appoints Wansley manufacturer director

SEVERNA PARK, Md. – The National Marine Electronics Association has appointed Keith Wansley as a manufacturer director, the association said in a release Friday.

In his new role, Wansley will coordinate, with the two other manufacturer directors, ongoing communication with NMEA’s manufacturer members.

“Keith’s understanding of industry issues will be a valuable asset to the organization, and the entire board looks forward to working with him,” said Beth Kahr, NMEA president.

Wansley has more than 26 years of marketing and sales experience in the marine electronics industry in various roles at both Raytheon Marine and Raymarine. Most recently, Wansley was appointed as the senior vice president of sales, Americas for Raymarine, Inc.

“I see my appointment to the board of directors as an honor and a responsibility,” Wansley said. “It is a tremendous opportunity to share industry information in an open forum, and to work towards creating and implementing new ways of better supporting the marine electronics industry.”
