Marine Mover – Staffan Jufors to leave Volvo Penta

GOTEBORG, Sweden – Staffan Jufors, current president of marine engine builder Volvo Penta, is leaving the division to assume a position as the new president of Volvo Trucks, the company reported in a statement today.

The move will go into effect on Nov. 1. Jufors’ successor has not yet been appointed.

Meanwhile, the current president of Volvo Trucks, Jorma Halonen, will assume the position of executive vice president and deputy CEO of the Volvo Group. He will work parallel with Lennart Jeansson – who currently holds the position – through mid-year 2005 at which time Jeansson, will retire.
