LOS ANGELES – Boating magazine vice president and publisher Wade Luce has named Philip Sweenie to the position of Southeast/Mid-Atlantic sales manager for the magazine, effective immediately. Sweenie will report to Farley Day, national advertising director, and will be based in the magazine’s Ft. Lauderdale office.
“We are pleased to welcome Sweenie to the Boating team,” Luce said. “He has a tremendous sales background and track record within the television industry.”
Sweenie comes to the magazine with over 20 years of sales and business development experience within the television broadcasting industry. He has served as senior vice president and directed national sales for both NBC and ABC during his career.
