Marine Movers – Whittley appoints U.S. operations and plant managers

WILLACOOCHEE, Ga. – Whittley Cruisers USA has named Bob Whitlock as its U.S. operations manager and Wayman Giddings as its plant manager, the company said in a recent release.

Since 1986, Whitlock has been involved extensively in boat store management and finance and insurance, and has won many awards for boating sales.

“We feel very pleased to have a person with Bob’s credentials to oversee our operations, sales and marketing in the USA,” said Neville Whittley, the company’s president.

With 24 years of experience in the marine industry, Giddings will be responsible for the supervision of all phases of production of Whittley pocket cruisers from 17′ to 25′.

“I’m proud to be a part of the Whittley team,” Giddings said. “I look forward to being associated with the organization that produces some truly unique boats that are ideally suited for on-water family boat camping, as well as coastal cruising and fishing.”
