Marine Mover – Marine recruiting firm adds VP and coordinator
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Marine industry recruiting firm Brooks Marine Group, has hired Charlie Morris to the newly created post of vice president of business development, and Ali Goler’s to the newly created position of recruiting coordinator, the company said in a release today.
The hirings were part of what the company termed a “current and aggressive expansion.”
“Both Mr. Morris and Ms. Goler bring strong management and marketing skills to Brooks Marine Group and its on-line job board, Careerboat.com,” the company said. “Such strategic hiring signals the tactical stance the firm has adopted: to use a variety of skill sets to provide the most sophisticated job search and selection process available to the marine industry. “
Morris comes to Brooks Marine Group from corporate finance, having spent five years with Wachovia Securities as an associate in client management. Goler gained sales, marketing, and promotion experience at Sony Music in Nashville, and at the corporate headquarters of Office Depot, in Delray Beach, Fla., Brooks Marine said.
