VONORE, Tenn. – MasterCraft recently promoted industry veteran and 7-year MasterCraft senior manager, Terry Bell, to chief operating officer. Bell, formerly the VP of Operations, has been with the company since February 1997, the company said in a statement yesterday.
”Terry was promoted because of his accomplishments in two plus years of the Top Grading program,” said John Dorton, president & CEO. “He’s a tremendous leader and asset to our company.”
Top Grading is designed to create optimal human capital in a company by recognizing and capitalizing on an employee’s strengths, while also identifying and counterbalancing any weaknesses, according to the company.
As chief operating officer, Bell will focus less on day-to-day manufacturing and more on MasterCraft's long-term production capacities, the company said.
