Marine Mover – IYCG adds CEO and broker

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The International Yacht Charter Group has hired Derek Holding as its chief executive officer and chief operating officer, and Kathy McErlean as a yacht-charter broker, the company said in a release today.

Holding is former COO of Yachtstore, Ltd., and prior to that was the chief design officer and senior vice president of marketing at OUTPOST.com, a computer and electronic goods retailer.

McErlean is a former corporate bond sales executive for Freeman Securities and Legg Mason Wood Walker in New York City. She will be based in Connecticut and focus primarily on research for clients and assisting in the maintenance and growth of the PowerhouseCHARTER database.

“Derek and Kathy bring specific, exciting skills to the company,” IYCG president Janet Bloomfield said. “Their combined presence gives us the ability to further enhance our new PowerhouseCHARTER partner program.”
