Marine Mover – Ritz Interactive appoints Neamand VP and CFO

IRVINE, Calif. – Ritz Interactive, Inc., the e-commerce network that includes BoatersWorld.com and other online shopping sites, has appointed Scott Neamand to the positions of vice president and chief financial officer, the company said in a statement yesterday.

Before joining Ritz Interactive in March, Neamand served as chief financial officer for the Los Angeles-based entertainment company TOKYOPOP, Inc. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer and senior vice president of Egreetings Network, a publicly-held Internet content and services company headquartered in San Francisco. Neamand has also served as a vice president of finance with Universal Studios, Inc. and as a senior manager at KPMG.

"Scott brings with him a wealth of financial knowledge and business savvy that will prove essential to the continued growth and success of our Web network,” said Fred Lerner, Ritz Interactive president and CEO. "He has also played instrumental roles in raising money in both the private and public equity markets - experience that will be invaluable to Ritz Interactive as we move closer toward a possible IPO."
