Marine Mover – Dometic Group names new CEO

RICHMOND, Va. – Dometic Group, a supplier of air conditioning systems for pleasure yachts, has appointed Lars Johansson as its new chief executive officer, replacing Dr. Sven Stork, who has assumed the position of chairman of the board, the company reported in a press release today.

Johansson has been with the Dometic Group since 1972 and has held key management positions in research and development and general management. Most recently, he was executive vice president of technology and production, Dometic said.

“Dometic is a group with a fantastic history. It is also a group with a great and exciting future, and I am very proud to take on the responsibilities as CEO,” said Johansson.

Dometic said the changes became effective April 28.
