Marine Mover – Taylor Made names director of new product development

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – Eric S. Butler has been appointed as director of new product development for Taylor Made Systems, the company reported in a press release Friday.

“Eric Butler brings the experience needed to continue Taylor Made Systems’ efforts to develop a robust, customer-focused new product development system,” said Randy Parker, president of Taylor Made Systems. “We are confident he will provide the leadership to deliver the new products that will solidify our company’s position as one of the leading OEM suppliers for the boating industry.”

Butler served for ten years as manager of engineering and product development at a tier-one automotive OEM supplier. In that capacity he played a key role in the successful implementation of an ISO9001/QS9000 quality system, according to the company.

Taylor Made Systems is a manufacturer of marine glazing systems and framed glass windshield technology for powerboats. It’s other marine product lines include hatches, doors, window systems, portlights and canvas boat tops, Taylor Made Systems said.
