Marine Mover – BoatTEST names Thompson Southeast sales manager

STAMFORD, Conn. – BoatTEST Publishing has promoted Doug Thompson to Southeast regional sales manager, where he will be responsible for covering marine advertisers in Florida, Georgia, and North and South Carolina, as well as all of the bass and walleye boat builders nationwide, the company said in a recent statement.

“Thanks to his extensive contacts in the marine industry, Doug has been a tremendous asset in introducing new builders to BoatTEST,” said the company’s publisher Chris Kelly. “As the former editor of Bass & Walleye and Powerboat magazines, Doug already knows many of the clients in his newly expanded territory, and we hope they will join us in welcoming him to his new position.”

Thompson will be based at his office in Hollywood, Fla.
