Marine Mover: Quintrex names national sales manager for North American launch
MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Rick Davis has been named national sales manager for Quintrex Boats in the U.S. and will oversee the market development of its 10-foot to 20-foot aluminum boats, the company reported in a statement today.
Davis is a 10-year veteran of the marine industry. He comes to Quintrex from Triumph Boats, where he held the position of sales administration manager for three years and was responsible for inside sales and working with their dealer network, Quintrex reported. He is a graduate of East Carolina University.
For Quintrex, Davis will further develop its dealer network and provide direct sales training and support. The initial phase of Quintrex’s sales strategy will focus on the eastern U.S. The company said its aggressive sales plan includes the opening of a manufacturing facility in South Carolina.
“Quintrex represents an excellent product line that has an incredible opportunity in the U.S.,” Davis said. “Once boaters discover just how good our aluminum boats perform, especially in saltwater, we know there will be growing demand.”
Quintrex produces a variety of aluminum all-water boats for saltwater and freshwater applications including specialty fishing boats/center consoles, bowriders, runabouts and utilities.
