Marine Movers – Hachette Filipacchi promotes two to VP

NEW YORK — Hachette Filipacchi Media has named Boating magazine publisher Wade Luce and editor-in-chief Randy Steele to the additional posts of vice president, effective immediately, the company said yesterday.

Luce has served as the magazine’s publisher since 2000, after having served as advertising director prior to that. Steele has been the editor-in-chief since 1997. Before that he was the magazine’s art director, assuming that position in 1988.

“These individuals have demonstrated enormous talent, success and loyalty throughout their respective tenures here at Hachette,” said Jack Kliger, Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. president and CEO. “They are valued immensely by our organization, and they are considered the best at what they do.”
