Marine Mover – NMTA names new membership director

SEATTLE – Rachel Hegger has been promoted to the position of membership director with the Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA) according to a press release from the association yesterday.

Hegger had been serving as the health plan coordinator for the NMTA’s Medical Trust, which closed after a decision by the association earlier this year to switch medical insurance for its members to the MBA Health Insurance Trust.

“Rachel has done a fabulous job with the Medical Trust over the past year and a half,” said NMTA President Michael Campbell. “It is a natural fit for her to take the lead in organizing all of the member benefits now.”

“I’m really excited to be working one-on-one with the members,” Hegger said. “The NMTA provides its membership with so many wonderful benefits. I’m looking forward to helping grow all of those things we offer.”
