Marine Mover: Blue Sea Systems hires Southeast regional sales manager

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Blue Sea Systems has hired Lou Walton to serve in the recently created position of Southeast regional sales manager for its expanding line of marine electrical system products and accessories, the company reported in a statement yesterday.

Walton previously served as Southeast sales manager for The Janson Company, where he developed marine electronics business in a newly created region for the company. He will be responsible for increasing OEM marine manufacturer sales across the Southeast U.S., the company said.

“Lou’s wealth of experience in sales management for technical products is a natural fit for us,” said David Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing for Blue Sea Systems. “It’s rare to find someone who combines a proven track record of growing and maintaining OEM sales along with extensive knowledge of technical equipment and products.”

Walton, an avid boater who has his USCG 100 Ton Captains License, will work from a sales office in Clearwater, Fla.
