Marine Mover: National City names regional manager for the Southeast

CLEVELAND – Richard Compton has been appointed as the regional manager for the Southeast area of the United States for National City Recreation Finance, a company statement said today.

Compton, who has 25 years in the financial services industry and previously served as national RV product manager for Transamerica Commercial Finance Corp. and regional sales manager for Bombardier Capital Inc., will focus primarily on the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, the company said.

“Last year, we assembled a very strong team of marine and RV financing professionals and launched a nationwide expansion of our Recreation Finance Division,” said Alan Zang, senior vice president and national sales manager for National City’s Recreation Finance Business Line. “Richard’s appointment completes this mission and strongly enhances our presence in the Southeast. His exceptional track record and leadership will enable him to build a substantial sales force in this key part of the country.”
