Marine Mover: HIA elects board and forms new group
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Houseboat Industry Association (HIA) board of directors held its spring meeting this past weekend at the National Houseboat Expo in Louisville, Ky., the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) reported in a recent statement.
Destination Marine Group’s Sheldon Graber was appointed chairman of the for another year and Sumerset houseboat’s Steve Lochmueller was appointed vice chairman.
The board also announced the formation of a Purchasing Logistics Group, which held its first meeting immediately following the HIA board meeting. The Group’s mission is to combine industry expertise and knowledge related to purchasing and transportation issues.
