Marine Mover: Sea Tow Services International promotes Keith Cummings to president

SOUTHOLD, N.Y. – Captain Keith Cummings has been promoted to the newly created position of president of Sea Tow Services International, Inc., a marine assistance organization, reported Captain Joe Frohnhoefer, chairman and CEO, in a company statement today.

“Keith has made a number of significant contributions to Sea Tow’s growth since joining us, and I have come to rely strongly on his input and judgment,” said Frohnhoefer. “He’s a skilled leader who has the ability to identify and implement new initiatives that are synchronous with the company’s long-term corporate objectives.”

Formerly the vice president of operations, Cummings is credited with the company’s operational expansion since joining Sea Tow in 2001, the company reported. He will not only be responsible for overseeing the company’s daily activities, but is also charged with managing the company’s organizational development, the continued streamlining of efficiencies and identifying and developing strategic business alliances, both domestic and international.

In addition, Captain Joseph Frohnhoefer III was promoted from program director to vice president of operations, according to Sea Tow. He is responsible for the management of the franchise network and is also in charge of the company’s disaster response programs and initiatives.

Captain Tim Wilson, formerly National Corporate representative was promoted to director of franchise development. Wilson, who recruited and trained 27 new franchisees last year, will be charged with identifying, and later training, the best candidates for the company’s existing franchise opportunities, the company reported.

According to Frohnhoefer, all of these promotions are effective immediately and are reflective of the company’s desire to better take advantage of new strategic alliances and expansion opportunities.
